I was listening to the radio station NPR,
when there was an interview going on
with a writer. Instantly my heartstrings
were pulled into the grasps of the story!
Gwen Cooper had written a book about her
cat, Homer. She got this cat from her vet
while he was still young, abandoned, and
eyeless. The kitten had been found and
brought to the vet with a very bad eye
infection that would take his life if not
treated the best way possible. Gwen Cooper
went on the describe the amazing feats this
cat could do when many didn't have
high hopes for him. I have only
just started reading the book but I can
already tell it'll be an interesting one!
The book is called "Homer's Odyssey: a
Fearless Feline Tale, or How I Learned
about Love and Life with a Blind Wonder Cat"
by Gwen Cooper. If you have the time I suggest picking this
one up for a good read! Let me know what
you think if you do! :3 To end this post
here is David being his cute self.

ReplyDeleteThank you for telling us about the book. Tommy knows she's going to cry already. We're going to get it. I'll purr while she dabs her eyes.
